Soul Song (Singing Bowl)
How do I describe this gentle
yet powerful surge and longing
as I make one strike and
my heart opens, swells to fullness…
The Mystery of Love
A broken heart is an open heart,
the shattered cracks let the Light shine in and through.
The depth of our love is an infinite mystery that I wonder…
Journal Entry 2/9/24
She speaks of the initial light we feel when awakened and then; “Now the darkness grows, and it is filled with crooked things, bitter and weak, each one bearing my name.”
What I Said at Her Service
“When we pray to love God perfectly,
surely we do not mean only.
(Lord, see how well I have done).”
Journal Entry 1/16/24
My morning ritual is to do my Yoga practice, meditation, and sound codes before going to the kitchen for morning coffee or tea to journal and read a poem each day by Rumi.
Winter Wonder
Sunny morning, pale blue sky, glistening snow on trees and rooftops as the sunlight touches the dark tree branches a million twinkling lights sparkle.
The Light of Being
When does the Light within ignite to change what is?
To bring healing to the human self and awaken to the glory of the Divine?
A Beautiful World
The world is softer, kinder, and more beautiful when the holidays are here, which is why I believe in the Christmas stories, the magic of Kris Kringle, the open hearts of mankind, the bright colors of Kwanzaa, Diwali’s festival of lights, Hanukah, and the solemnity of the Nativity.
Your Capacity to Love
My heart has been full of gratitude, long time memories scroll through mind like a movie reel. Memories of people who touch my life, acts of kindness, generosity, laughter, thoughtfulness, tears, and good times.
Do You Know?
You wear a crown of perpetual Light?
A subtle energy thread that connects you to Source?
God the Creator of All and Everything?
By the Window
For months now I have sat by the window.
Observing the change from summer to autumn.
Leaves of green gradually changing, yellow, gold and orange.
Slowly they fall, a reminder to allow the process.
Where I Wander
From the foothills of the mountain.
To the roaring ocean shores.
I find solace.
Quiet, peace.
