Kathleen will speak about her experience being on the receiving end of the generosity of others and how everything everyone did was a catalyst that led to her 3 year long retreat to the Adirondack Mountains where she experienced healing, growth, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Join WE (Women Entrepeneurs) for an extraordinary evening of inspiration and exploration as we view the film "Discover The Gift" a stunning feature length documentary by award-winning director Demian Lichtenstein. After the film we will enter into discussion facilitated by Kathleen S. McPhillips and Sheila Pearl both Authors and Life Coaches. This film explores the fundamental question we all ask ourselves at some point in our lives: "why am I here?" This film presents the basic but vital reality that we are each given a unique Gift, a purpose to our lives that is always seeking to express itself. "Discover The Gift" features such luminaries as The Dalai Lama, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Michael Beckwith, Mary Morrissey, Dr. Barbara de Angelis and 25 more luminaries in the field of transformational living.
Cost: $10.00 a nominal fee to cover the cost for the use of space. Wonderful food and beverages are available at the cafe!

Devayani met Baba Muktananda in 1978 and has lived in the Ashram since then. She has traveled the world with Gurudev Nityananda, Baba's Successor, and her service has played a significant role in the development of Shanti Mandir Ashrams. She has been practicing meditation, chanting, and playing the harmonium for over three decades and is well acknowledged for her ability to lead people into ecstatic chanting. Currently she is the administrator of the Shanti Mandir Ashram at Walden where she continues to inspire and enthusiastically welcome all who come to Shanti Mandir. Devayani is one of my dearest friends and It is an honor and gift that she will accompany me to the Adirondacks for this special event in conclusion of this course.

We have explored the guests in our house and the power of surrender. We learned how to let go and find peaceful acceptance of our self and of life as it is. We explored what separates us from God. During this retreat we will explore the fruits of surrender to experience freedom—the freedom to "be," and to allow what is to be as it is. Surrendering will set you free… free to be a full expression of the beautiful Spirit you are in every way.
